Founded in 1932, the Bury Bach Choir is Suffolk's major large mixed-voice choir. We aim to perform the best music in the best possible way. We contribute to the cultural life of Bury St. Edmunds, and we enjoy ourselves whilst doing so.
Today, the choir has around 120 singers from Bury St. Edmunds and the villages of Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. We perform three major concerts each year with professional soloists and orchestra, and at Christmas we perform a further concert, often at a venue out of Bury St. Edmunds.
Philip Reed, our Music Director, is widely experienced in choral music.
