Personal Friends and Benefactors of the Choir
More than fifty supporters, former choristers, current members of the choir, friends and relations provide invaluable support as Friends or Benefactors of the Bury Bach Choir, and we are very grateful for their support.
Friends and Benefactors are members of the Society entitled to participate in all of the activities of the Society, particularly functions arranged for choir supporters, and they are entitled to attend the Society's General Meetings.
They also receive advance notification of, and have priority booking for the Choir's concerts together with a discount of £2.00 on the listed price of top price tickets that they purchase for any of our concerts.
Their names are acknowledged in the Choir's concert programmes and on our web site.
Membership is subject to annual subscription, and the current rates are:
Friends subscription - £25 Benefactors subscription - £100
Friends are entitled to purchase up to two discounted tickets for each concert.
Benefactors may purchase an unlimited number of discounted tickets for each concert.
Gift Aid
The Government's Gift Aid scheme enables us to obtain tax refunds on contributions from our Friends and Benefactors, which provides an additional benefit to the Society, and most of our existing members Gift Aid their donations.
