Music makes an important contribution to improving the quality of life, and it is pleasurable for participants and audience alike. To this end, The Bury Bach Choir produces regular concerts of a very broad range of classical choral and orchestral music for the people of Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area. The Choir uses professional soloists, conductor and orchestra, thus giving good amateur singers from all backgrounds the opportunity to learn and take part in high quality performance of this music.
However, in common with many similar choirs throughout the country, we face the constant challenge of maintaining accessibility for everyone to the great music that we perform. We try to achieve this by keeping our subscription rates for members of the choir and ticket prices for members of our audiences at an acceptable level, whilst finding the additional money required to enable us to maintain our high standards through Grants, Donations, Concert Sponsorship, and the financial support of our many Friends.
The Bury Bach Choir Friends Association supports the work of the choir toward this objective, and if you would like to help us to continue to be able to perform high quality concerts we invite you to assist us financially by joining the Friends Association.
We will be grateful if you would consider becoming either a Life Member (Jubilee Membership), a Friend or Benefactor, or a Corporate Patron. Corporate Patrons may also become Jubilee Members. Please look at the appropriate page by using the navigation buttons above, where you will find additional information and see the advantages that we provide to you, in return for your support.
Concert Sponsorship We are pleased to accept sponsorship for a specific concert, which enables firms or individuals to use our concerts to invite guests and to provide them with an evening of entertainment. Various 'Packages' are available, and if you would like to undertake such an event, please contact our Publicity Manager.
We are grateful to the following members of our Friends Association for their continuing support.......
