The programme will feature two iconic choral works from different periods of Handel’s life, Dixit Dominus, a setting of Psalm 110 where Handel’s genius first showed itself to the world, and the Foundling Hospital Anthem in which Handel incorporated the famous “Hallelujah Chorus”, as well as the ever popular "Arrival of the Queen of Sheba". This will be an evening of hugely enjoyable music, enhanced by performance in the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Church, Long Melford.
