African Sanctus rehearsal tracks
Bury Bach Choir is the largest classical music choral society in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England. We have about one hundred singing members.
On 15 November 2025 we performed David Fanshawe's African Sanctus in the town's Apex Concert Hall to a sell-out audience. It was a truly amazing evening, and we were really lucky that Jane Fanshawe came to introduce African Sanctus to our audience.
To help the choir prepare for this concert, our wonderful accompanist Anne Reece recorded rehearsal tracks for every part, as these were not available elsewhere and we felt they were an essential learning aid for this concert.
There are 70 rehearsal tracks, covering each part for each movement plus some tracks of the full piano accompaniment.
Here is an example.
By arrangement with Fanshawe One World Music, we are making these rehearsal tracks available to other choirs who are preparing to perform African Sanctus, at a cost of £150 per choir. On receipt of your payment we will give you a passworded page on this website, containing links to all 70 tracks. The password will be unique to your choir, and will operate until just after the date of your concert.
If you would like to use these rehearsal tracks, please complete and send the form below and we'll get back to you.
