Classical choral and orchestral music thrives in Bury St Edmunds thanks to the generosity of our audience, supporters, and business partners. Your contributions help us stage ambitious performances and secure our long-term future.

SUPPORTERS

We have four ways in which you as an individual can support the choir financially.


1. Become a Benefactor or Patron

To become a Benefactor, we invite you to gift the choir between £60 and £150 annually and, to become a Patron, to gift the choir £250 or more annually. As well as having the pleasure of supporting the choir, you will enjoy these benefits.

  • Ticket discounts: we will give you a £3 discount (Benefactors) or £4 discount (Patrons) on any number of top price tickets for each concert
  • Early bird alerts: we will alert you by email of the time and date when booking opens for each of our concerts
  • Public recognition: we will list your name as a supporter in our concert programmes and on our website


2. Become a Jubilee Member

The Bury Bach Choir Jubilee Fund is a permanent investment fund operating under Charity Commission rules to provide an ongoing income for the choir, year on year. Jubilee Members of Bury Bach Choir enjoy the same benefits as Patrons of the choir for life (and if you’re also a singing member of the choir, you’ll enjoy a lifetime discount on your annual subscription too).   There are two ways of becoming a Jubilee Member.

  • Gold Jubilee membership comes from a single lifetime gift of at least £4,800 (25 times the singing member’s annual subscription)
  • Silver Jubilee membership comes from a single lifetime gift of at least £1,920 (10 times the singing member’s annual subscription)


3. Sponsor a Concert

We warmly invite individuals to celebrate a milestone birthday, or an anniversary, or honour the memory of a loved one, by sponsoring a concert. We will give explicit acknowledgment of your sponsorship in the concert programme and will provide interval hospitality for your guests.


4. Leave a legacy

If you’ve enjoyed our performances as a singer or audience member, please consider making a bequest in your will to help ensure that the music lives on.

BUSINESS AND TRUST SPONSORSHIP

We have four levels of support by businesses and trusts.


1. Major Sponsor

By donating from £5,000 per year, you will be providing the critical, foundational financial backing that directly enables the choir to continue its vital work in the local community. Your contribution to the ongoing success of the choir will be clearly visible in our website and programmes and in our communications generally.


2. Corporate Sponsor

By donating from £1,000 per year, you will enjoy the following benefits.

  • Complementary tickets: we will give you two free top-price tickets for each concert
  • Interval reception: we will invite you to an interval reception at our major concerts
  • Ticket Discounts for your guests: we will give you a £5 discount on any number of top price tickets for each concert
  • Digital visibility: we will feature your name as a Corporate Sponsor together with your logo on our website, with a hyperlink leading directly to your website
  • Audience visibility: we will include your name and logo in the programmes of our major concerts
  • Discounted advertising: we will give you discounted advertising rates in our concert programmes


3. Corporate Patron

By donating from £250 per year, you will enjoy the following benefits.

  • Ticket discounts for you and your guests: we will give you a £4 discount on any number of top-price tickets for each concert
  • Digital visibility: your name as a Corporate Patron and a hyperlink to your website will be included on our website
  • Audience visibility: your name will be shown as a Corporate Patron in the programmes of our major concerts


4. Concert Sponsorship

We warmly invite businesses to showcase your support for local arts by sponsoring a concert where you can entertain your clients with a sophisticated alternative to traditional sporting events. We will give explicit acknowledgment of your sponsorship in the concert programme and will provide interval hospitality for your guests.
